RDI staff have conducted research and advised
on land reform, foreign aid, and development issues in 40 countries
in Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
On-site
field research using the methods of
Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA)
and random-sample surveys is combined with
desk research and RDI’s
comparative experience from around the globe
to prepare policy research studies and reports
on the design, implementation, and monitoring
of land
law and policy reforms.
RDI publications include a collection of 122 RDI
Reports on Foreign Aid & Development,
articles in academic, law, policy journals, and the press,
and topical studies published by agencies such
as The World Bank and the Food & Agricultural
Organization of the United Nations.
